Employees who are located at one of the office hubs have an expectation to go into the office. Below are some callouts and specific details:

• All employees, whether you live at the hub or not, will have full access to the office space.
• If an employee lives in a hub, the goal is for them to go into the office as much as possible. Understanding that various circumstances (personal or not) come up, the bar is going into the office the majority of the week.
  • For instance, an acceptable work reason for working from home is having back-to-back meetings for 4+ hours. It’s likely more productive for this person to take these calls from home than to be fighting for meeting rooms.
  • Of course, there are other reasons too.
  • Individual hubs can align on specific details for these outlined standards.
• To ensure the safety of getting home late at night — if an employee stays in the office past 8pm (local time), they should feel free to call themselves an Uber/Lyft home on Explo.
  • Please use good judgement here. Bad judgement is leaving work to grab dinner with friends then head back to the office after 8pm to call a car home. This is designed for folks who are staying late to work and get things done.
• If the office makes you less productive than working at home, please call that out to your manager so we can make the appropriate adjustments to fix this.
