Employees will occasionally work from “home”, but from a place that is not their actual home — aka WFA (work from anywhere). This usually occurs when someone is:

• Traveling to visit family.
• Working before or after a vacation (but from the vacation destination), because it was easier for their travel logistics.
• Needing to get a change of pace from where they physically work.
• etc.

This shouldn’t be someone’s regular work set up, but we understand that these situations come up and this flexibility is important and valuable. Below are some of the expectations if you are working from anywhere:

• You must have stable internet that is Zoom-able with your video turned on.
• Make sure your manager and team knows you will be working away from your home base.
  • Please create a calendar block and invite the necessary folks to it.
• You are still expected to still attend your respective team meetings, like check-ins and sprint planning. So please be mindful of timezones.
